I am currently working on getting together my favorite ideas for preparing my child for conference, and some fun activities to do during conference, to help them maybe pay attention better and look forward to it each time it comes around. While I don't have my lesson plan just yet I do I have compilation of different ideas for you to give you some ideas! If you have any more please post them! I am hoping after this general conference I will have my lesson plan down! Until then enjoy the links!
Here are the ideas I have found so far: (Like I said I am not sure which ones will make the final cut for my family but every family is different so I figured I would post them all!) Here is a memory game that teaches kids so fun facts about the apostles! Free printable from beinglds.blogspot.com Here is a cute idea for a "general confrere train", I like this one! Basically each time something is mentioned your child adds to the "train". You premake the different "carts" that have pictures of different subjects. From littlefamilyfun.com Here is a General Conference Bingo form ldshandouts.blgospot.com Here are some cute ideas for toddlers! I like the tie one (For some reason I like the tie thing! I have another tie activity below too!) from momshavequestionstoo.com Here is my other tie one :) I even saw someone who made tie shaped pancakes for breakfast...I don't know if I would go that far, but I do like seeing what ties they wear! From scribd.com And there are seriously so many more ideas to look at online, just type it in google and away you go! I saw an idea having a treat to go with each apostle and when they speak you can eat it. I figure at least that would get them excited as to who is going to talk. But I am looking for more ideas to get sunbeam age kids more involved with conference, if you have any ideas please let me know!
