Mini Lesson Ideas
1) Favorite Scripture – Share your favorite scripture with your child and explain why it is special to you
2) Articles of Faith – Chose an article of faith, recite it and explain to your child the significance of it
3) Favorite Song – Sing your favorite song, tell your child that singing good songs makes Heavenly Father happy!
4) Animals – talk about your Child's favorite animals (complete with sounds) and how Heavenly Father created them just like he created you.
5) Pictures – find a picture that is a story from the scriptures, tell your child the story using the picture as much as possible - Use the Gospel Art Kit, let your child pick the picture if they are old enough.
6) Read a book. Reading is an important skill to have, instill their love for reading at a young age.
7) Go for a walk around the park, a zoo, or around the block! Talk about things you see.
8) Mom’s choice activity. Mom can pick any activity she wants to do.
9) Dad’s choice activity. Dad can pick any activity he wants to do.
